Literary Adventures: Discovering Classics and Hidden Gems

This will hopefully be my first of many blog posts on this website. There are so many directions that I could take, and so far I’ve run with none. Let’s change that, shall we? My goal with this website is to shine a light on the literature that I love. Novels, poetry, plays, short stories, and nonfiction will all be discussed. We’re talking about a nearly 5000-year-old tradition that exists within every culture throughout the world. Where do you even start if you want to make sense of it all? The answer, of course, is that you can’t. Even the most dedicated of readers will never make a dent in the sheer volume of literary texts. But isn’t the rabbit hole part of the fun? I hope that by making this blog, I’ll be able to share my adoration of specific texts with fellow literature nerds. 🙂
